Tips & Tricks: October

Isn’t it funny how sometimes you think that you’ll get on stupendously with a theme and then it proves to be a challenge? That’s where I have found myself this month. I presumed that, because my tonal work wasn’t too shabby, that I would be okay with using only one or two colours but as always with painting, it proved to be more difficult that I thought.

I did enjoy filming this for you however as I told myself all sorts of stories about who had sat on this bench and the conversations they might have had so I hope that my painting helps you with both your tonal work and your storytelling, Ali.
