To use the starting points suggested here or explore your own and create something around that brief. You might find yourself deviating wildly from where you began or you may like some of the resources offered below. No matter how you tackle it and what the end result, it’s the creating that matters.

What’s your favourite way to paint leaves? Do you like to do lots of observation and paint them in a botanical style or do you prefer something looser and more experimental? This month, I am challenging you to step out of your comfort zone and not stick to the same way of painting them as you would do normally PLUS I would like to experiment with combining media - the more unusual the combination the better.
